STREET TOUGH

Everybody from Waterbury starts here.

Street Tough isn’t about being the best fighter. It doesn’t mean you’re fearless, professionally trained, or that you’re going to win every fight. It’s about what you’ve already endured and what growing up in Waterbury taught you.

Everybody’s story is different. For some it started at home. For others it was school, the neighborhood, getting picked on, getting into fights, watching other people fight, or simply learning early that sometimes you had to stand up for yourself.

You could be scared. You could know the other person was bigger. You could know you were probably going to lose. You still had to have the heart to fight back.

You got knocked down. Somebody yelled, “Get up.”

You got knocked down again. Get up.

Eventually you learned something: getting hurt wasn’t the same as being finished. You didn’t have to be the toughest person around. You just couldn’t make yourself an easy target.

That’s Street Tough.

Waterbury blood doesn’t make you invincible. It makes you hard to keep down.

And I’d stop the page right there for tonight. Street Tough video + that block = finished section. Then go play. Getting Joe back into the game is more useful right now than spending the next four hours designing Development Point Economics because your brain casually invented another game system at bedtime. 😂

The new progression idea isn’t going anywhere. It deserves its own session when you’re actually in the mood to design it properly.
